This was an unscripted docuseries following the journey of the genre from its very beginnings in Puerto Rico to the powerhouse it is today in the music industry. Working in partnership with Telemundo, key art was produced and was later slated to be distributed as a Peacock Original (all under the NBCU umbrella).
Later in the post production process I was assigned to bring motion to the art for various OOH (Out Of Home) placements, targeting primarily Florida and some unique digital boards that lived on trucks and boats. I was inspired by the grungy textures and bright colors applied to the typography seen in the hero trailer. This was all produced/versioned in-house for OOH distribution.

INSPIRATION
Title Sequence
Here is a snippet of the title card seen in the trailer. I like the bright “spray painted” textures that extend across to the key art – something that inspired me while bringing motion to the final deliverable.
OUT OF HOME
Digital Truck
This is an in-situ mockup of the final OOH animation, seen across multiple mobile digital boards, primarily based out of Florida. It is a perfect loop that brings life to the audience, neon moon, palm tree, Puerto Rican flag, silhouette face, and typography.
