Because this was Season 2 of a relatively successful show on Peacock, a GFX Package and overall design language was already established by Trailer Park/Art Machine. I helped internal Producers and Editors render out various title cards and lower thirds that were used in teasers and behind the scenes spots.
Similar to Poker Face Season 1, Rian Johnson as a Creator/Executive Producer/Director was the big sell. This season, in addition to playing the lead, Natasha Lyonne shared an Executive Producer credit and had more involvement in the overall production.

Hero Spots
For season 2, each episode a new guest star is introduced. However most notably, coming off the success of the recently released Wicked: Part 1, Cynthia Erivo played 6 different characters all at once. I provided the GFX for this comedic tease which brings attention to Cynthia, Wicked, and Poker Face.

This behind-the-scenes spot focuses on Leah Katznelson (the Costume Designer on set), diving into the fashion choices made for each character/episode. They really focused on the “vintage” style that was hinted at in season one. I once again provided all GFX needed.

OUT OF HOME
Times Square – “Big Bertha”
“Big Bertha” was a brand new OOH placement for Peacock. Working in collaboration with Silvercast and Art Machine we designed a bespoke asset that expanded across multiple screens (a full city block) on a loop for 30 minutes at a time. While we had a variety of different key art options for Poker Face, the end result Creative Directors wanted lean on were the many guest stars that appear in each episode.
This goes to show if you know the media-buy before the key-art shoot, it will significantly improve the end result for OOH placements. Regardless, we collectively agreed that the bright yellow title card was eye catching for passerby’s
