Overview

This was a unique campaign as it gave Peacock Internal Creative editors, producers, animators, and designers a chance to work on four different titles without outside vendors. We worked with four content creators to produce/design a marketing campaign under the “Peacock Emerging Artist Series” umbrella. This gave lesser-known artists a chance to shine as their individually produced projects were posted on the Peacock streaming platform.

While I didn’t work directly on key art, I worked with static designers to make sure the trailer was cohesive. I worked with editors and helped create bespoke Motion Graphics for the four titles, as well as the branded “Emerging Artist Series” card seen in each trailer. There was a lot of back and forth with Creative Directors as to how this series was going to be branded, but we adapted as necessary to produce a final product everyone was happy with.

The Warehouse Phase

Malachi Moore, or Chi for short, is an overlooked musician who begrudgingly dives into the world of content creation. Chi must learn to balance his love for music, his addiction to stardom and his desperate search for a mysterious record executive all in the pursuit of his ultimate goal: fame. I designed the internal graphic cards, the title card, as well as the branded peacock “Emerging Artist Series” card. The general direction was to lean into the “content creator” look and feel, focusing in on mobile devices, and social media validation.

The Kouncil

Katie Florence is picking up the pieces after a crushing breakup. Living alone for the first time, she relies on her personified inner comedic council to guide her through the chaos of adulthood. Katie learns that growing up means accepting every part of herself — even the messy ones. I designed the title card, as well as the branded peacock “Emerging Artists Series” card. The majority of the internal GFX were created by the content creator.

Older Hotter Wiser

A young woman is ready to take on Hollywood, but first, she has to get there. When a logistical mishap forces her and her boyfriend on a chaotic road trip to LA, a simple journey turns into a whirlwind of unexpected detours, mischief and self-discovery. I Art Directed the title card (replicating the 3D title used on the key art), and designed the peacock branded “Emerging Artists Series” card.

People Like Me

The journey of a guy navigating the pitfalls of being human. Struggling with anxiety, relationships and self-doubt, he turns to his therapist for guidance. Through their sessions, he learns to embrace life’s unpredictability, often in unexpected ways: sometimes through song, sometimes through dance and always with humor. This series had more of an indie direction. Inspired by the hand drawn GFX used in the show itself, I helped create the title card, internal cards, as well as the branded peacock “Emerging Artists Series” card. The content creator provided the final handwritten typography and hand drawn illustrations.
